Dave Donaldson has lived in the Shetland Isles for the last thirteen years after moving from London. He studied in Scientific Illustration and worked in the exhibition industry for a many number of years before deciding to jump on the 07:00 from Kings Cross, to board the North boat finally arriving at the island he now calls home.

" I find Shetland an inspiring place for photography, as you can ask anyone who has lived here you can experience four seasons in one day, watch the sun set at midnight, experience the wonder of the Northern Lights, see Otters playing in the ebbing tide, marvel at Killer Whales hunting off the shores, or just enjoy the genuine hospitality that these islands enjoy.
There is no lack of beauty here, and I hope you can experience that through my images "
